Who Am I?

I asked my son who he thought I was. He immediately said, A businesswoman, a great mother, and a good cook. He didn’t say “great” cook, although he eats every bit of the food I prepare.

My son is correct. I see myself as those things and as a person who always seeks to encourage, uplift, and spur others to live the life that God has purposed them to live. My sincere goal is to grow spiritually and naturally while giving the things I have learned to others. And when I do that, we grow and learn together.

Who am I? I am number 6 of 8 children. I am a die-hard Louisville Cardinal fan. I love Uno and consignment shops. I am a runner. I started running half-marathons & full-marathons at age 50, and so far, have completed over 20. I have been a breast cancer survivor since May 2005.

Who am I? I serve the community. I am the founder/leader of the Women of Noble Character ministry/group for over 25 years. The focus is to show women the path to their personal purpose and how to sustain it. Also, I founded an outreach organization called S.O.S. (Serving Our Sisters), where we serve homeless women and their children. Annually, during the month of September, we bus in women and children from local homeless shelters/transitional housing units for a day of pampering, social services, lunch, and warm hugs; valuing them for who they are and not for where they are in life.

I began coaching leaders in various business sectors over 20 years ago. As a Certified John Maxwell Trainer, I use John Maxwell curriculum and also my own leadership curriculum. Many of my students have reached high levels of success.

This website is my of way connecting with other women throughout America, who know they have great purpose and are willing get everything that God has ordained for them.

My favorite quote is by Dr. Charles Stanley -"Obey God and leave the results to Him.” I have been married to my husband (Michael) for 34 years, and I have one son (Matthew), who thinks his mom is “the greatest!”
